As Apple revealed its iOS 9.2, speculations were raised regarding new features, but Apple didn’t disappoint again. Upgrading from iOS 9, iOS 9.2 possess major improvements including bug fixes.
Forbes reported that over thirty improvements that have been made in the software update across apps like Apple Music, News, Mail, Podcasts and Safari. But there are six new features that especially stand out.
One such feature which was expected was AT&T at more advanced level. It lets the user place phone calls from iPad, Apple Watch and El Capitan-based Macs over Wi-Fi without requiring iPhone to be nearby.
Further there is an upgrade to Apple News app introducing ‘Top Stories’. Top Stories is a feature that enables users to ‘stay current with the most important news of the day, selected by the Apple News editorial team’.
Last but not least is improvement to Apple Music which can now create a new playlist containing the song you selected when you open the option to add it to that playlist. Most recently changed playlists will be listed at the top when songs are added to playlists and you can download albums or playlists from your iCloud Music Library by tapping on the iCloud download button.
